Bean$ is a collective of Drone Enthusiasts. We are Samuele Giulio Ferrari, Nicolas Speda and Tibor Victor Hugo Kovács. 2025 we debuted with an 8 hour long drone concert at Kollegienkirche Salzburg. The concert was supported by the installative work White Maze Nr. 0 by Marianne Ewaldt
About our collective: In the Drone Sessions by the Bean$ Collective, three worlds of electroacoustics converge: electric guitar with live electronics, modular synthesizers, and live-coded digital instruments. Each instrument follows its own sonic trajectory, and through constant interaction, dense sound fields with complex inner structures emerge.
At the center of the drone lies the audience’s perception and interaction with the music.Massive sound formations unfold uncompromisingly in the space — accumulating, condensing, and then dissolving again over extended periods of time. Opposing forces drive this process forward: delicate, fragile sounds build into brute sonic textures, and harmonic chords transform into noise-like layers.
Listeners are exposed to this overwhelming sound experience like a force of nature — there is no choice but to surrender to it.
